California State Department of Health Services – Site contains official State, Local, and Federal Government health resources covering policies, health trends, and intercultural health concerns for Californians.
Health Publications Finder-This website is designed to help you access many of the excellent publications produced by the California Department of Health Services in both print and electronic formats.
Medicare information from California State Department of Aging – California government resources to assist with Medicare and other government programs on federal, state and local levels.
Office of Multicultural Health, California State Department of Health Services – Overview of functions provided by the Office of Multicultural Health, which tries to reduce inequality in health status and improve information and resources on multicultural health.
Department of Health Care Services- Individuals- Find out how to apply for services for you and/or your family. Get help for children with special medical conditions and seniors needing personal care. Find health information for women, men and teenagers.
Department of Health Care Services-MediCal - California’s Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.  Medi-Cal is financed equally by the State and federal government.

Health Access California - A not-for-profit organization advocating for health care reform in California. The advocacy coalition has over 200 associations and organizations working for the goal of quality, affordable, health care and health insurance for all Californians.
California Health Advocates – California Health Advocates (CHA) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to offering timely and responsive education and advocacy efforts on behalf of California Medicare recipients and the pre-retirees.
California’s Patient Advocate- The Office of the Patient Advocate (OPA) is an independent office in state government charged with informing and educating consumers about their rights and responsibilities as HMO enrollees.
